Attorney at Law
James D. Corbo is a 1997 cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School. In law school, he made dean's lists every semester. Attorney Corbo's law school clerkships included the Legal Services Center in Jamaica Plain, the office of general counsel at New England Medical Center, the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Civil Division of U.S. Attorney's Office, and the Suffolk Voluntary Defender's Clinic. Attorney Corbo was the cofounder of the Suffolk Law School Public Interest Law Group.
Attorney Corbo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Sociology from Brandeis University in 1993. Prior to that, he served as a City Year corps member from 1990 to 1991, and implemented a violence prevention program throughout several Boston Public middle schools. He attended Syracuse University as a television/radio/film major from 1988 to 1990. He graduated from Boston College High School in 1988.
Prior to his current private solo practice, Attorney Corbo served as a judicial law clerk for the Massachusetts Juvenile Court, was a U.S. Probation Officer at the U.S. District Court in Boston, and he worked as an associate at Bardouille & Fugate, a small litigation firm located in Lynn, MA.
